It’s safe to say that the warmth and the sun is officially gone. With the weather becoming increasingly wetter and colder it’s time to change your wardrobe to accommodate for the not-so-harsh climate.
Here are our Top five coats and jackets for £100 or less (in no particular order).
1) Napapijri Skidoo Jacket – £100
The outdoor Italian brand is no stranger to high quality jackets and outerwear. The Skidoo jacket boasts a front pouch pocket and a thermal insulation perfect for the Autumn and Winter conditions. With a baggier retro-styled fit, this piece is currently on sale from £250 to £100, available online at ‘Size?‘
2) Bershka Raincocat – £29.99
Apart from making great fitting jeans, Bershka are also producers of useful outdoor apparel. A simple raincoat that hangs till the thighs, would keep most of the rain off of you. Coming in a stone, neutral colourway it’d be easy to pair this up with almost any colour or style of sneakers and footwear and bottoms. This piece although not insulated, would be great to put on for a local shopping run or a simple motive. Also available in a black colourway.
3) MKI MIYUKI ZOKU Crinkle Nylon Overshirt – £70
Love Stone Island crinkle garments? If you do, this jacket from MKI is a great affordable alternative. Available in many different colourways and styles, my chosen favourite the Crinkle Nylon Overshirt in the olive colourway fits the in-season military trend. A smart, classy piece that can be dressed up or down.
4) MKI MIYUKI ZOKU Tapestry Rider Jacket – £95
Making a second appearance on this list, the MKI Tapestry Rider Jacket is personally one of the best jackets that I have seen. If you’ve ever wanted to wear your Persian rug this jacket is perfect for you. Admittedly being a very loud piece, it’s definitely a head-turner. Pair this jacket with brown military boots or with earthy / autumnal toned sneakers. Also available as a puffer coat.
5) Uniqlo X JW Anderson Fleece jacket – £60
This fleece windproof jacket by Japanese brand Uniqlo is on trend and super cosy for AW19. A collab piece with JW Anderson, this beige fleece comes with a zipped front chest pocket and side pockets. It’s also a great alternative to Burberry’s fleece which comes in a very similar style and design. Wear this with dark blue jeans or an array of different coloured chinos for a more mature yet ‘streetwear’ look.
